Mission Statement
Goals

  • Preserve colonies of native wildflower species in Forsyth County.
  • Identify native wildflower species that do well in the home landscape.
  • Educate the citizens of Forsyth County to use native wildflower species in landscaping their homes

Objectives

  • Work with the Forsyth County Master Gardener Volunteer Plant Rescue Committee in relocating native wildflower species to the Arboretum At Tanglewood Wildflower garden.
  • Design and construct a native wildflower trail at the Arboretum At Tanglewood.
  • Identify, collect, and label collections of native wildflowers of Forsyth County in the Wildflower Garden at the Arboretum At Tanglewood.  Our volunteers work tirelessly and with passion preserving these magnificent native plants so future generations will be able to discover the supreme beauty in our woodlands.
